OUR CREW
Originally from Michigan, he moved out west at 17 to pursue a life of adventure. First landing in Colorado, where he worked as a lift operator for 4 winters, while raft guiding down the Arkansas river during the summer months.
He then found climbing and let that lifestyle guide him to where he is today. After learning the ropes, he got into rope access work, painting 100’ to 2,000’ AM/FM communication towers nationwide. On his first tower, he looked at his climbing partner who got him the job and said “man, this is fun, but we should be painting ski lifts!”
Well 6 years later with the help of his beautiful wife, Alina, Teton Tower Painting was born, and now they are back on the road painting lift lines nationwide!

ALINA HOLLIS
Alina, the co-founder of Teton tower painting, was raised in Kansas. She joined the Marine Corps straight out of high school, where she gained invaluable leadership experience, discipline, and a deep respect for teamwork and perseverance.
After completing her service, Alina explored a variety of fields — from restaurant work and gardening to river guiding and broadcast tower painting. It was in the tower industry that she and her husband, Jake, honed their rope access techniques and developed expertise in specialized steel coating systems. With over a decade of combined experience working at heights, they channeled that knowledge and work ethic into founding Teton Tower Painting.
Drawn to the ski industry by her love of mountain culture, Alina saw ski lift painting as the perfect blend of craftsmanship, technical precision, and outdoor adventure. She values the sense of community that comes with resort life, from skiing and mountain biking to the connections built through shared experiences on the slopes.
Outside of work, Alina can often be found biking with Zazu (the company’s energetic four-legged mascot) slacklining, climbing, skiing, or relaxing with a good book. She brings a balance of professionalism and easygoing energy to every project, guided by a commitment to detail, safety, and pride in her craft.
